Reem Ahmed

Chef Reem Ahmed moved from Egypt to Canada in 2008 to pursue a career in Biomedical Engineering. Reem gained national attention as the first Muslim hijabi contestant on MasterChef Canada. She has built a successful cooking business, with features on CTV, CBC, BBC Arabic, Aljazeera, Alahram, Toronto Star, and more. Recently, Reem joined forces with National Zakat Foundation Canada, dedicating herself to fighting local poverty and supporting evacuees in Canada as they resettle and heal. 

Zehra Allibhai

Zehra has over 15 years of experience in the health and fitness industry, with a background in Kinesiology and certifications in areas like Nutrition, Strength & Conditioning, and Pre/Post-Natal training. She has worked at top fitness clubs in Canada, earning recognition as a top trainer and Fitness Manager at GoodLife Fitness. Now, Zehra runs community fitness classes, private group sessions, and 1-on-1 training. Zehra created TheFitNest to provide practical tools, meal ideas, and workouts to make fitness part of everyday life.  

Nazima Qureshi

Nazima is a Registered Dietitian and Nutritionist with a Masters of Public Health. She is a two time author, a food journal entitled Eat Better, Feel Better, Live Better, and The Healthy Ramadan Guide. She has been featured in CNN, CBC, Canadian Living, Self Magazine, Globe and Mail, and NY times.
