Universities in Gaza, once vibrant with hope and learning, now lie in ruins. The relentless destruction has not only shattered buildings but also the dreams of thousands of students and educators.

Prestigious universities in Gaza, such as Al-Azhar University and the Islamic University of Gaza, have faced severe damage. The Role of PSSAR and NZF

In these dark times, initiatives like the Palestinian Students and Scholars at Risk (PSSAR) connects Palestinian students and scholars with educational opportunities in Canada.

While their universities in Gaza have been destroyed, here they have an opportunity to continue their academic pursuits.

Partnering with PSSAR, National Zakat Foundation (NZF) helps Palestinian students and scholars with critical needs such as food, housing, and other essentials. This enables them to focus on their education without the added stress of financial instability.

Towards the end, the letter goes on to say, "We built these universities from tents. And from tents, with the support of our friends, we will rebuild them once again."
