Understanding the Need
For many children in Canada, poverty isn’t just a statistic; it’s a daily struggle that affects their dreams and well-being. Almost 1 in 5 kids—about 1.3 million—live in conditions that make even the simplest things, like school supplies, a luxury (Campaign 2000). Despite the Canada Child Benefit, many families remain in deep poverty, struggling to meet their children’s basic needs (Campaign 2000). This hardship doesn’t just impact their material world; it burdens young hearts and minds with stress and worry that no child should carry.
Your donations will be directed to support children going back to school in Canada. In the case of any excess funds, they will be directed towards supporting eligible beneficiaries as most urgently needed.
